You can receive notifications in-app or via email, and you have full control over how and when they arrive. Configure daily and weekly cadences and the channel you'd like to be notified in.

In-app notifications

Where they appear

The Notification Bell Icon, located in the upper-right corner of the screen, will show a badge count of unread notifications.

Click on the Bell Icon to open the Notifications Panel. The Notifications Panel displays recent and upcoming tasks, reminders, and Project updates from Workspaces you are a member of, Projects and Tasks you are assigned, and updates to People and Assets that may affect your work.

What Triggers an In-App Notification

  • New projects or tasks assigned to you.

  • Task and project reminders before a due date (e.g., 3 days, 1 day and 0 days prior).

  • Overdue tasks.

  • Project assignments.

  • Up next (e.g. when you are the assignee on the next uncompleted task in a project).

How to Manage In-App Notifications

1. Go to SettingsNotifications in the left navigation menu.

2. Under My notifications, toggle the In-app boxes for each category (e.g., Task Overdue, Task Due Reminder, Task Assigned).

3. Changes are saved automatically, so you can exit once you’ve made your selections.

Email Notifications

The same notifications that are available in-app can be sent as email.

Weekly Planner

This email includes an overview of upcoming tasks, overdue tasks, and project overviews for the week ahead.

By default, you will receive a weekly planner email Sunday evening (e.g., 19:00), but you can pick another day or time.

Timezone and Date Format

Your timezone and date format defaults to the timezone set in your browser. You can change this by selecting the timezone you choose to keep dates and times consistent. You can also specify the date format.
