Connect HubSpot to Relato with the HubSpot MCP

Attach a HubSpot MCP account to Relato so your AI Content Agents publish to the HubSpot blog and keep marketing content in sync.

Written by David Baum

Connect HubSpot so your Relato AI Content Agents can reach your marketing stack. Once the account is attached, an agent can publish a Relato project to the HubSpot blog and keep the content in sync as the project changes.

What you can do

With HubSpot connected, an agent can:

  • Publish a finished Relato project to the HubSpot blog.

  • Update a published post when the project changes.

  • Keep marketing content in sync between Relato and HubSpot.

Connect HubSpot

In Relato open Settings > Integrations > MCP > Add account, paste the HubSpot MCP URL, approve OAuth, and name the account. The name you choose prefixes HubSpot's tools in the agent tool picker. Then attach the HubSpot tools plus the Relato query and project tools to an agent, and set a trigger: a project stage change, a schedule, or manual. For the full walkthrough, read Connect any MCP to Relato.

A good first agent

Start with an agent that publishes an approved project to your blog:

  • Attach the HubSpot tools and the Relato query and project tools.

  • Instruct the agent to read the project title, body, and summary.

  • Instruct it to create a HubSpot blog post, mapping the project title to the post title, the summary to the meta description, and the body to the post content.

  • Set the trigger to fire when the project reaches your published stage, and start the post as a draft so a person can review it.

A note on OAuth

Relato's MCP integration is OAuth-based. You can connect HubSpot if it runs an OAuth-capable MCP server that Relato can reach. If a public OAuth MCP for HubSpot does not exist yet, tell us at [email protected] and we will help you find a path.

FAQ

Can the agent update a post instead of creating a new one? Yes. Give the agent the post reference or have it look the post up, then instruct it to update the fields you care about.

Does the post go live automatically? Only if you tell it to. Start posts as drafts for review, then move to auto-publish once you trust the mapping.
