Connect Ghost to Relato and your AI Content Agents can push a finished post or newsletter to your Ghost publication as part of their flow.
What you can do
Once Ghost is connected, an agent can push a finished post or newsletter to Ghost. The agent takes an approved project and creates the post in your publication, ready to send or schedule.
Connect Ghost
In Relato open Settings, then Integrations, then MCP, then Add account. Paste the Ghost MCP URL, approve the OAuth prompt, and give the account a display name. That name prefixes Ghost's tools in the agent tool picker. See Connect any MCP to Relato for the full walkthrough.
Then attach Ghost's create and update tools to an agent, along with the Relato query and project tools, and set a trigger. A trigger can be a project stage change, a schedule, or a manual run.
A good first agent
Try an agent with instructions like these:
When a project is finished, read its title and body with the Relato query tools.
Decide whether it is a post or a newsletter and format the content for Ghost.
Use Ghost's create tool to add it, leaving it as a draft so you can review before sending.
Write the Ghost link back to the project as a comment.
A note on OAuth
Relato's MCP integration is OAuth based. You can connect Ghost if it runs an OAuth capable MCP server that Relato can reach. If a public OAuth MCP for Ghost does not exist yet, tell us at [email protected] so we can prioritize a connector.
FAQ
Can the agent send a newsletter directly? The agent creates the post or newsletter in Ghost. We suggest leaving it as a draft so you can review before it goes out to subscribers.
Can I trigger this on a schedule? Yes. Set the trigger to a schedule if you publish on a regular cadence, or use a project stage change to push each piece as it finishes.
