Connect X to Relato so your AI Content Agents can turn a project into a thread and schedule it, without copying text between tools.
What you can do
Once X is connected, an agent can:
Turn a project into an X thread with a clear opening hook.
Schedule the thread for a time you choose.
Keep each post within the character limit as it drafts.
Connect X
In Relato open Settings > Integrations > MCP > Add account, paste the X MCP URL, approve the OAuth prompt, and name the account. The name you give it prefixes that service's tools in the agent tool picker. Then attach the X tools plus the Relato query and project tools to an agent, and set a trigger: a project stage change, a schedule, or manual. For the full walkthrough see Connect any MCP to Relato.
A good first agent
Create an agent called X thread writer. Attach the X tools plus the Relato query and project tools. Set its instructions to: read the project when it is approved, break the key points into a thread of five to eight posts, open with the sharpest line, keep every post under the character limit, and schedule the thread for a slot you name. Set the trigger to manual at first so you can review the thread before it goes out.
A note on OAuth
Relato's MCP integration is OAuth based. You can connect X if it runs an OAuth capable MCP server that Relato can reach. If a public OAuth MCP for X does not exist yet, tell us at [email protected] and we will help you find a path.
FAQ
Can the agent post a full thread or just one tweet? That depends on the tools the X MCP exposes. If it supports threads, the agent can build one. If it only posts single tweets, the agent posts the opening and you continue it.
Can I edit the thread before it publishes? Yes. Use a manual trigger so the agent drafts and schedules, and you review before the scheduled time.
